General Uniform Policy:

Your student’s campus may have additional uniform guidelines, and should be deferred to.

The RCSA uniform policy requires students to adhere to specific dress and grooming standards to maintain a safe, neat, and respectful educational environment. All students must wear the complete uniform upon arrival at school, during school hours, and when riding the bus. Non-compliance may result in administrative intervention, including calling home for a change of clothing or disciplinary action.

Uniform Guidelines:

  • Tops: Students must wear RCSA-branded polo shirts. Only RCSA jackets, sweaters, and sweatshirts are permitted indoors. Solid black, white, or gray long-sleeve shirts may be worn under the uniform polo.

  • Bottoms:

    • K-8th Grade: Navy or khaki pants, skirts (K-8 girls), or knee-length shorts are required. No denim, cargo, leggings, or sweatpants are allowed.

    • High School: Blue jeans (without holes), khaki, or navy pants/shorts are acceptable. Shorts must not be more than 4 inches above the knee.

  • Shoes: Closed-toe shoes, such as athletic or dress shoes, are required. Slippers, Crocs, open-toed shoes, or heels over 1 inch are prohibited.

  • Accessories: Belts must be worn appropriately. Jewelry and hairstyles should not attract undue attention or pose safety risks. Tattoos must remain covered.

Special Day:

  • Fridays: Spirit shirts (grade colors) may be worn with uniform bottoms.

Miscellaneous Guidelines:

  • Clothing should be clean, well-fitted, and intact (no rips, tears, or frayed edges).

  • Athletic wear is limited to P.E. classes, and no sleeveless tops are permitted.

  • Extreme hairstyles, body paint, and inappropriate clothing, such as revealing or overly tight garments, are prohibited.

Religious and Special Exemptions:
Exemptions for religious attire must be pre-approved by administration. Special exceptions may be granted for school events or activities.

Disciplinary Actions:
Students out of compliance will be given an opportunity to correct violations. Persistent non-compliance may lead to isolation, conduct points, or dismissal for the day.

This policy applies during school hours and at all school-sponsored events unless explicitly stated otherwise by administration.
